Hope needed in South Texas...

Lots of my friends and family consider Galveston as their home. They sleep there every night. They drive along the seawalll past the flagship, and many other well known places, everyday. They've raised their children down there in the water. Ike has distroyed the years of life down there. Destroying millions of memorys, for all the familys. Not even able to go see your home yourself is horrable! No clothes, not sure when they will be able to go home, adding to the stress of when they do get to go home... whats left? And where do you begin to rebuild your life? 'How am i gonna take my child to daycare, while i work, if the daycare was destroyed?!'
The Air in texas is thick with stress and fear. And yea, maybe Fema is tryin to help. But some have already spent the remaining money on gas, thats too high, food, and entertainment for the kids to keep their minds off going home. Mothers are scared for their children. And fathers, cant console their wives. Its gonna be a battle to keep up in South Texas. So please keep them in your heart as you clean up your house. Keep them in your mind as you have a bad day due to some stupid reason. Because you are better off than alot of ppl.
Id rather have a headache, flu or some temperary illness than have to rebuild my life! Id rather have to deal with a PMS'ing boss, and have to see my everything waterlogged, and growing black mold.
I cant forget all the people, who are gonna have to rebuild it breaks my heart!
If your from South Texas, and you need to vent im here. I cant even dream to imagine what your goin through. My heart goes out to you right now!
